A 2D image shows only a splice of the baby on a single plane while 3D refers to 3 dimensional still images. Lastly, 4D refers to the moving video of the 3 dimensional image of your baby.
Yes. We use low intensity sound waves that are applied for short periods at a time. The 3D and 4D uses the same sound waves as the traditional 2D.
Generally, 2D ultrasounds with gender determination can be performed as early as 14 weeks of pregnancy but usually are done after the 16th week of pregnancy. 3D/4D ultrasounds are performed between 18 and 35 weeks but the best time frame to do it is between 26 and 32 weeks.
Yes, in most cases we can provide an indication of the baby's gender however, we cannot guarantee that the baby will cooperate during your session. Certain factors such as body tissue content, developmental stage and fetal position will affect the ability to determine the baby's gender.
Drink an additional 20-30 ounces everyday before your appointment. Eat a meal in the hour before your appointment. It is important that you have plenty of fluids in order to have optimal images of your session.
Yes, of course.We welcome your family and friends to share this special occassion with you. We will do our best to accomodate you and your guests.
There are many factors that determine the images you will see during your session. All of our technicians are highly skilled and experienced and know exactly what to do to get you some great images. In the case that your images are unobtainable, we will reschedule you for a redo session within one week.
You can book an appointment online by clicking on the appointment tab at the top of this page. You will then be asked to pick the location, the package and time desired. You can also call one of our locations and speak with a technician to schedule an appointment. Please note that we do not ask for a deposit when booking but do kindly ask you to give us 24 hours notice in the case that you need to cancel your appointment.
